Travel to Washington DC by plane, railroad, bus and car is possible.

There are three major airports in the area:

The US Amtrak railroad system serves Union Station, which is within walking distance of the Hyatt Hotel. The Amtrak web site is at:

The Washington DC Greyhound Bus Station is about one-half mile north of Union Station at 1005 1ST Street NE (202-289-5141).
